  • Sometimes SD card is also the cause of the problem of this issue.

Possible Solutions

In the following lines you will get to know about all the possible solutions in order to overcome this problem.

  • The very first thing that you should do in this case is to give your phone a simple restart. In most cases this is able to get the job done right, but if it doesn’t then move to the next step.
  • Now go into:
    • Settings.
    • Application manager.
    • Select Camera App.
    • Press “Force Stop”
    • Press Clear Cache button.
    •  Press Clear Data button then check If that thing was able to resolve your problem.
  • Restart your phone and go into the option of “Wipe Cache Partition”. After it is done, go with the option of “Reboot System Now”.
  • It is also possible that a third party app that either uses camera or is associated with S5’s Flashlight is causing this problem. In order to check whether this is caused by any third party app or not, all you have to do is to restart your phone into Safe Mode and restart your camera again, if your camera works this time then it means that the problem is in the third party app. Restart your phone in normal mode and remove that app.
  • In case, above method fails then remove Micro SD card and check the status of your camera, as sometimes Micro SD card is the main cause of this problem.
  • Restore factory settings in your phone, this could be able to solve your problem in the best possible manner. But this could be considered as the last resort.
  • If nothing works for you then your camera must be faulty and you need to get it repaired. If your phone is in warranty then take it to Samsung Service center or any other well reputed repair center in order to get this thing done.
