Apple launched its iPhone 5 on 21st September 2012. IPhone 5 is known to be the one that came up with major design changes. All the previous iPhone models came up with a standard 3.5 Inches of display screen, but this generation was equipped with 4” of screen size, hence allowing a better visibility of games and applications.

Just like every other iPhone, it was also a one huge success, as the company was able to sell more than 5 million handsets in the first three days of its launch. IPhone 5 is discontinued in the favor of iPhone 5C on 10th September 2013, as iPhone 5C offered almost similar features of iPhone 5, but still you might find it in stores who are keeping older stock with them, and if you are lucky you will be able to get it at a much cheaper price.

This phone comes up with a standard screen size of 4 inches, which makes it a one bigger phone as compared to its predecessors and it is equipped with LED-backlit IPS LCD.

It comes with standard 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of memory. It does not offer you any extended storage space.

  • Does not offer extended memory.
  • Very Expensive.


This phone is bigger and better than its predecessors; however still a good number of people preferred iPhone 4S over iPhone 5, as in their opinion larger screen display made it look a bit awkward, but still the this iPhone came out as one of the success as compared to its predecessors.

IPhone 5 offered much better battery life as compared to its predecessor, as well as over a good number of other Smart phones. The specifications of this phone are pretty decent but it’s the price that makes this phone difficult to reach.

IPhone 5 is discontinued in September 2013, as Apple has offered an alternative of iPhone 5 i.e. is iPhone 5C, which has almost similar features as of iPhone 5, but still you can find this phone easily in a number of stores at a reduced price.  This phone surely has everything that you are looking for.
