There is something up!? I had a Samsung Galaxy SII on AT&T and I would wipe my cache partition once in a while after deleting apps and it would work flawlessly. I have updated my phone to a Galaxy S4 and now I get an error message every time I try to wipe the cache partition. My new Galaxy S4 gets hung up and I never get a good signal. I did a factory reset and tried various times reset the cache to make sure everything would clear. Everytime I tried, it starts the process but all I get is an error!??? Weird!!

    • Can you tell me something what this error is all about? Like what kind of error it gives? and if it is still in warranty than i recommend you to check it with Samsung’s support, as there are a number of S4 with similar software issues, and your phone might be the one.

  • I have a galaxy s3 with a 4.3 update & when I try to do wipe the cache partition all it say is reboot cache & thats all, then I let go of the buttons & my phone boots up

  • still having the “wipe cache partition” issue…

    I have a Galaxy S4 GT-I9505.

    any solution for that?

    thanks in advance, Isaac.

  • Hi
as I know S4 have issue with wiping cache partition
it comes with error ,I have tried on at least 3 different galaxy S4’s

    • Viktor but this thing has always worked for me! Which version of OS you are using? That might be some software problem, else it is a standard procedure.
